REFUNDS - CAMPING
Camping cancellations/edits must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your 2pm check-in time to receive a refund. The $10 reservation fee is not refundable.  Refunds will be issued as a credit code on your account. Codes do not expire. Cash and/or credit card refunds are not allowed. You can edit your reservation online, call our main office at 715-421-8422 or email us at parks@woodcountywi.gov. 

2026 State Waterski Tournament Reservations
Camping reservations for the 2026 State Waterski Tournment at South Park Campground will open July 10, 2025. Reservations for the tournament block (Friday before to Monday after tournament) will now have their own designated campground - "South Wood County State Waterski 2026". If you would like to incorporate a longer stay before or after the tournament block, you must make a separate reservation using the regular South Park Campground.

**New in 2025- Reservations at South Wood County Park campground, for the 2026 State Waterski Show Tournament, will be available beginning Thursday, July 10, 2025. (One year in advance to date of occupancy).   Individuals wanting to camp during this block (Friday before to Monday after tournament), will have to reserve online using the campground titled “South Wood County State Waterski 2026”.

5 1/4 miles east of Wisconsin Rapids on CTH W
Waterbody:  Lake Wazeecha, 148 acres
Park:  332 acres surrounding Lake Wazeecha

Special Amenities:
  • One (1) accessible site designated for individuals with disabilities.  This site is close to bathrooms and shower buildings for easier access.
  • NO FEE - Disc Golf Course
